We said no spam — so we mean it when we say this email is worth your time. We wanted to pull back the curtain on how Nooksplore actually works under the hood, share an honest look at where things stand, and introduce you to the three characters doing most of the heavy lifting.
Where we're at — honestly
The core of Nooksplore is working. The guide generator — the part that takes a city name and turns it into a personalized local guide — is up and running, and we're actively improving it.

The three bots behind every guide
When you ask Nooksplore to build you a guide, you're not getting a template pulled from a database. Three specialized AI agents kick off in sequence — each one doing a job the others can't. Here's who they are:

Digby 🔍 — The Scout Digby is your boots-on-the-ground researcher. He pulls from real-time sources simultaneously, knows which categories you're interested in, and calculates how many results each one needs. If his first pass comes back thin, he automatically expands the search — widening the radius, dropping date filters, pulling in backups. He's the reason your guide feels local rather than generic. |

Vera ✅ — The Fact-Checker Vera is the quality gate between Digby's raw findings and Quill's pen. She takes every place Digby found and verifies it's still open, confirms the address, finds current hours, and checks recent reviews. Closed? Flagged or dropped. Bad reviews? Out. She assigns a confidence level to each place — verified, caution, or unverified — which directly controls how long that place stays in the cache before needing to be rechecked. Nothing makes it into your guide without passing through Vera first. |

Quill ✍️ — The Writer Quill is the voice of Nooksplore. He takes Vera's verified, structured list and turns it into a beautifully written travel guide in whatever tone you asked for — luxury, family-friendly, adventurous, or warm and local. Vivid sentences, logical categories, and QR code markers embedded for each location so the printed guide comes alive. No summaries, no questions — just the guide itself, from the first word to the last. |

The Overseer 👁️ — Quality Control The Overseer is the final checkpoint before any guide reaches you. He reads Quill's completed output and makes the call — publish or reject. He checks that the guide is actually about the right location, that the tone matches what was requested, that every category has representation, that no agent failure responses slipped through, and that the writing meets Nooksplore's standard. If something fails his review, he can send the job back to the specific agent that needs to fix it — back to Digby if coverage is thin, back to Vera if addresses are missing, back to Quill if the writing is off. Nothing ships without his sign-off. |
That's the full pipeline. Digby finds, Vera verifies, Quill writes, and the Overseer makes sure it's actually worthy of your time before it ever reaches you.
We're heads-down getting this ready for early access. QR codes are the next piece to land, followed by map links that don't embarrass us, and then payments and accounts so we can actually get guides into your hands.
